Amma’s mission reaches out to all parts of the world. We have national centers, local groups and communities in all 6 continents and across 60 countries. Our centers and local groups carry out Amma’s message of love and compassion.
Here in North America, following Amma's first tour in 1987, small circles of seekers began gathering in living rooms to sing, meditate, and serve together. From those beginnings — and the first M.A. Center, established in San Ramon, California, in 1989 — a warm, coast-to-coast family has grown: 13 regional centers and nearly 70 local satsang groups, spanning 28 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and 3 Canadian provinces.
Week after week, these communities gather for meditation, devotional singing, and selfless service, carrying Amma's message of love and compassion into their own neighborhoods
