Welcome to the Humboldt Satsang
Amma's Humbolt Satsang meets monthly, on weekends, in the early to mid-afternoon. We gather at various places around Humbolt county, including: Garberville, Arcata, Willow Creek and McKinleyville. Seasonally, we also hold satsang outdoors.
The program consists of chanting of Aum, prayers for healing, Amma's Dhyana Sloka and Archana, a reading from her teachings, chanting of Om Lokaha Samastaha Sukhino Bhavantu, bhajans, meditation, arati, and closing prayers. Afterwards, we often share a vegetarian potluck meal, though sometimes it is something simpler.
