Br. Rāmānandāmṛta Chaitanya
Br. Rāmānandāmṛta Chaitanya, a monastic disciple of Amma, met her at the age of four and had the good fortune of growing up at her ashram from a very young age.
Currently based at MA Center Washington DC, Br. Ramanandamrita travels throughout the United States and Canada conducting satsangs across various cities, sharing Amma's message of love and selfless service.
He has written and composed numerous devotional songs (bhajans), and his melodious voice is often heard singing alongside Amma. His soulful singing evokes a palpable sense of divine grace.
Br. Ramanandamrita holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as three master's degrees in various fields of computer science. As a professor at Amrita University's Amritapuri Campus, he mentors PhD students in their research.
Known for their clarity and logic, Br. Ramanandamrita’s talks are both inspiring and uplifting. His book, Understanding Devotion: A Logical Perspective of the Hanuman Chalisa, reflects this thoughtful approach—grounded in deep understanding rather than blind belief.
