GreenFriends

Body

Founded in 2001, GreenFriends is the international environmental initiative of Embracing the World — a volunteer movement that makes caring for nature part of everyday life, at the individual and community level. Anyone can join a local chapter and become a GreenFriend.

Through tree planting, organic farming and gardening, permaculture, hands-on education, and community campaigns, GreenFriends works to protect and restore the natural world — and to reconnect people with it.

When we protect nature, nature protects us.

— Amma
