Ron Gottsegen, President of the Board of M.A. Centers, passed away on the morning of Friday, October 7th in Amritapuri, India. For decades we were inspired by and benefitted from Ronji's presence. His example of true selfless service, unwavering dedication, humility, perseverance, and profound love for Amma's philosophy of love and service will shine as a brilliant beacon for us as we travel our paths.
Ronji was instrumental in establishing Amma's centers in North America, beginning with M.A. Center, San Ramon, California, where he spent the first couple of decades after meeting Amma. He served in several impactful and crucial administrative roles, including as President of the Board of M.A. Centers and Administrative Head of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.
A memorial was held at M.A. Center, San Ramon on Sunday, November 13, 2022, to celebrate Ronji's life with Swami Dayamritananda Puri, Swamini Ambikamrita Prana, Swami Shantamritananda Puri, Br. Ramanandamrita Chaitanya, and members of the M.A. Centers Board, followed by an afternoon tea.
