SATSANG

Welcome to the Albuquerque Satsang

Our satsang gathers once a month for archana, devotional singing, meditation, and a shared vegetarian meal, and stays active through the year with Mother's Kitchen's Burrito Project, the Amrita Book Club, spiritual classes for children, and Integrated Amrita Meditation (IAM) courses.

Whether you have known Amma for years or are simply curious, all are warmly welcome to join us.

When we dedicate ourselves solely to the well-being of others, it is our own mind that becomes pure. When you give your friend a bouquet of flowers, you are the one who first enjoys their beauty and fragrance. In the same way, you can derive happiness from selfless acts.

— Amma

Amma encourages devotees to gather regularly, whether weekly at a home or a hall, to sing, meditate, and pray together, and then to share a meal as a spiritual family. It is an atmosphere that steadies the mind, uplifts everyone present, and quietly shapes the children who grow up in it.

Satsang Schedule

Monthly

We meet on the fourth Saturday of each month, beginning with archana at 4:00 PM, followed by the main program — chanting, devotional singing, a short talk, meditation, prayers, and arati — and close with a vegetarian potluck. Children are always welcome.

Mother's Kitchen — Burrito Project

On the second Saturday of each month in Rio Rancho, our members assemble 108 burritos — with cookies and water — and carry them to people living on the streets. Some cook, some pack, some deliver, and newcomers are always welcome. To help, contact Surupa and Mahadev Levine at amritasclsal@msn.com or (505) 994-8334.

Meditation
Children, never waste an opportunity to serve. The entire world looks up to those who have the heart to do selfless service.
