Welcome to the Maui Satsang

Aloha! Our satsang gathers to chant Amma's names, sing bhajans, and meditate, and serves the community by preparing fresh to-go lunches for our unhoused neighbors.

Whether you have known Amma for years or are simply curious, all are warmly welcome to join us.

When we dedicate ourselves solely to the well-being of others, it is our own mind that becomes pure. When you give your friend a bouquet of flowers, you are the one who first enjoys their beauty and fragrance. In the same way, you can derive happiness from selfless acts.

Amma encourages devotees to gather regularly, whether weekly at a home or a hall, to sing, meditate, and pray together, and then to share a meal as a spiritual family. It is an atmosphere that steadies the mind, uplifts everyone present, and quietly shapes the children who grow up in it.

We meet on the first and third weekends of each month for a satsang program: chanting the 108 Names of Amma and the 1000 Names of Sri Lalitha, a spiritual talk, bhajans and meditation, followed by a potluck dinner. IAM meditation classes are held several times a year, in person and via Zoom. Even if you are just visiting for a short time, we welcome you with open arms.

Mother's Kitchen

On Sunday afternoons our members prepare to-go lunches for a travelling homeless resource project that offers portable showers, laundry, mail, and medical services to the unsheltered. We use as much local produce and organic, vegetarian food as we can. To cook or contribute, write to us.
