Homa & Community Seva Day with Swamini

Jun 6, 2026 6:30am-5:30pm (ended)

Please join us for a Homa for World Peace and Mother Nature by Swamini Ambikamrita Prana followed by a Community Seva Day on June 6, 2026. Note: the day will end at around 5:15 pm and there will be no evening satsang that day

Swamini Ambikamrita Prana will perform an auspicious Homa (sacred fire ceremony) on Saturday, June 6, starting at 6:30 am, at MA Center Chicago. Homa, or Puja, is ceremonial worship of the Divine, performed to keep us in harmony with cosmic forces, thereby removing and overcoming the sorrows of life and bringing spiritual upliftment. By doing puja, positive spiritual vibrations are created around us. All are welcome to attend the Homa.

If you would like to register for a sankalpa (spiritual resolve) to be made during the homa on your behalf, or for a loved one, you can sign up here. Please note that those who register for sankalpa do not need to be present to receive the benefits of the Homa.

After the Homa, we'll have a Community Seva Day to get ready for Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri's MACC programs in August. Lunch will be served to all volunteers. At the end of the Community Seva Day, we'll have arati and distribute prasad at around 5:15 pm.

If you have any questions, please email macenterchicago@ammagroups.org
