Amrita Yoga Class

A yoga class student with arms behind her head
Next event (Weekly): Aug 16, 2025 10:30am-12:00pm

Location: South Lodge Community Room at MA Center Chicago

Join us Saturday mornings for an open yoga class with simple, gentle Amrita Yoga postures/asanas. No prior experience or training in Amrita Yoga is necessary.

"The purpose of Yoga is for our inner well-being. It does not belong to any particular faith or religion. It was passed on to us by the ancients seers for the well-being of humanity. Yoga helps us to reconnect with nature and eventually become one with God." -Amma

The cost for the one-hour Amrita Yoga class is $10, payable at the door by cash or check (made payable to MA Center), but the class will be free on June 21st in honor of International Day of Yoga. Please be there at least 5 minutes prior to the class start as the class will start promptly. If possible, bring your own yoga mat (mats will be available for use as well).

For more information or to register, email Jagruti at amritayoga.macenter@gmail.com.

If you have any questions, please email macenterchicago@ammagroups.org.
