Enjoy a day of nature, community, and discovery on MA Center Chicago's beautiful 142-acre campus

Join us for a fun-filled, educational celebration of Earth Day at MA Center Chicago. Whether you're bringing little ones for their first nature walk or joining as a lifelong conservationist, there's something for everyone - from expert talks and family yoga to a seed exchange and a scavenger hunt with prizes.

Here's the schedule:

10:30 am - Doors and exhibits open; scavenger hunt begins
11:00 am - Pond Life Exploration (interactive nature activity) 
11:30 am - Expert Tips Talk - Claire Ryan, Kane County Recycling Program
12:00 pm - Family Yoga Fun (all ages welcome!)
1:00 pm – Local Land Restoration - Jay Womak, Natural Resources Committee Board Chair
1:30 pm - Walking Tour of MA Center - Paurnami Engelking, nature-based education expert
2:30 pm – Flute Duet Performance

Exhibits all day: Explore tables on nature conservation, native herbs, locally made soaps and tinctures, regional birds, and more. Don't miss the seed exchange - a favorite for returning visitors!

Enjoy delicious vegetarian cuisine and freshly made chai, available for a modest donation. Explore the beautiful grounds and learn about the local flora and fauna that make this campus a natural treasure.
