LA Satsang: Serving with Compassion & Care

The LA Satsang has quietly and consistently contributed to the well-being of others through hands-on service and spiritual community building. As part of the M.A. Center’s Mother's Kitchen initiative, members prepare and distribute meals to the ladies of the Downtown Women's Center facing food insecurity—Mother's Kitchen is an effort that has continued for years with dedication and care.
Their spirit of service has also extended to times of crisis. During the recent Los Angeles wildfires, members came together to support disaster relief efforts, offering help where it was needed most.
In addition to external service, the Satsang also fosters inner resilience. Regular group-guided IAM-35® meditation sessions provide a space for collective stillness, offering participants a way to deepen their personal practice while contributing to a broader atmosphere of peace and calm.
Together, these activities reflect a shared commitment to both compassion in action and the cultivation of inner harmony—core values of Amma’s teachings.
