Amma MN Satsang Volunteers at Second Harvest

Members of MN Amma Satsang recently participated in a meaningful volunteer initiative at Second Harvest Heartland, contributing to ongoing efforts to combat food insecurity within the local community. During the service event, volunteers worked collaboratively to sort, label, weigh, and package a wide range of food items, including fresh produce, dry goods, and bread, ensuring timely distribution to those in need.
On April 4th, in partnership with other community volunteers, the group successfully packed a total of 4,320 meals—demonstrating both efficiency and dedication to the cause.
This initiative reflects Amma’s guiding principle of addressing hunger through compassion and selfless service.
By engaging in such efforts, MN Amma Satsang members are helping to support individuals and families across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota region. Their contributions are part of a broader commitment to community care, working toward a future where all people—especially children, seniors, and vulnerable populations—have reliable access to nutritious food and essential support.
