Benefit Lunches Bring Community Together in Iowa

The MA Center of Iowa is delighted to share the success of our Benefit Lunches held in July and August 2025. Guided by our beloved Vaju, volunteers lovingly prepared and served seven fundraising lunches, each drawing close to 100 guests on average.

What began as a simple meal offering quickly blossomed into joyful community gatherings, where friends came together to connect, share stories, and enjoy delicious food. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and Amma’s spirit of selfless service.

Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our community, we raised a net profit of about $6,000. These funds were donated to two local charities as well as Amma’s humanitarian initiatives worldwide.

We offer our heartfelt gratitude for Amma’s inspiration of serving with joy, which made these lunches both fun and successful.
