As one of Amma's ashrams, we are participating in the worldwide gratitude nature Clean Up in honor of Amma's Birthday!

Come at 9:30 for coffee, tea and pastries. Amma's Worldwide Birthday Clean Up will be from from 10-12.

Activities include- gathering the fallen apples, weed cutting, trash collecting from road, cleaning windows, painting trees against sun scald.

We will send a report and photos to Amritapuri as our contribution from Amma Center.

Here is Swamij'is letter:

Aum Amriteswaryai Namah

I hope this email finds all of you well and happy. This is to inform you that Saturday, September 20th, is "World Cleanup Day. This event is especially significant for us because it occurs exactly one week before our beloved Amma's birthday.

On this special day, it would be a noteworthy gesture if all branches of Mata Amritanandamayi Math ashram, University campuses, Amrita Vidyalayams, and Amma’s children around the world could come together and offer this selfless service to society. We can organize and participate in community clean-up drives in public areas, lending our support in whatever way we can.

Let's turn this day of service into a yajna, a sacred offering, and make it a sincere, heartfelt preparation for Amma's birthday celebrations. This is an excellent opportunity to actively practice Amma's teachings on environmental protection and conserving nature.

I sincerely urge everyone to see this as a blessing, participate wholeheartedly, and make it a global event.

With Loving Prayers
