Projects

Our Activities

Inspired by Amma’s selfless example, the Pacific Northwest community serves year-round — in shelter kitchens, along park trails and roadsides, with children and youth, and in the quiet of meditation and prayer.

"The beauty and charm of selfless love and service should not die away from the face of the earth. The world should know that a life of dedication is possible, that a life inspired by love and service to humanity is possible."

— Amma

Why it Matters

Seva in the Pacific Northwest takes many shapes: a hot meal cooked for guests of Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission and Hope Place shelters; thousands of volunteer hours spent clearing litter from parks and roadsides across Washington, Oregon and British Columbia; a handwritten card reaching someone facing illness or loss. Each hour of seva is an offering — and everyone is welcome to take part.
