MN Amma Satsang Volunteers at Second Harvest Heartland

Serving Our Community with Love and Selfless Action

Members of the Minnesota Amma Satsang recently came together to volunteer at Second Harvest Heartland, supporting vital efforts to fight hunger across our local communities.
Our dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves to sort, label, weigh, and pack a wide variety of essential food items—including fresh produce, dry goods, and bread—to meet the immediate needs of our neighbors.

Impact by the Numbers

On June 27th, 2026, working side-by-side with other passionate community members, our group achieved an incredible milestone:
Total Meals Packed: 3,924

Every single box packed helps ensure that families, children, and seniors across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota have access to nourishing food.

Living Amma’s Vision

This service project is a direct reflection of Amma’s compassionate vision: to address hunger with love, dignity, and selfless action (Seva).
By coming together in service, we are doing more than just filling food shelves; we are contributing to a larger movement of care. Our goal is to provide the critical support our community needs to move toward a brighter, more secure future.
