Farm Update: Beekeeping & Veggie Garden

Four beehives are now in their new home at Amma Canada Farms
Last Saturday, the Beekeeping team moved the last two hives from the old location (close to the woodlot) to the new location (near the vegetable garden). No bees were harmed in the hive transportation process. Amma Canada Farms now have four hives. Cathy of Bees Are Life will keep additional hives at the Amma Canada Centre this year, and in return Amma Canada will receive a portion of their honey. Hoping for a successful beekeeping year!
Farm Seva continues this Saturday, June 6 from 10:00 AM until around 3:00 PM in the veggie garden! A delicious lunch will be provided for the volunteers.
