Bee Squad Winter Update & Honey Sale Announcement

Beekeeping volunteers ready to winterize hives

Protecting the hives from the winter chill

Last Friday, five dedicated volunteers from the Bee Squad braved the cold and snowy conditions to help prepare 11 hives for winter at Amma Canada Farms. Canadian winters can be tough on bees, so we’re hoping the clusters remain healthy, strong, and well-nourished to survive the season.

Amma Canada Honey Jar 2025

The Bee Squad is excited to announce that honey sales have started! The next sale will take place during Satsang on Saturday, December 20. A 330 g jar of our raw, unfiltered honey—never fed with sugar or antibiotics—is available for $13, and makes a wonderful Christmas gift. If you can’t attend Satsang but would like to purchase honey, please reach out to Pauline or Than for more information.

Our design volunteers have created beautiful new honey label designs, making them more attractive and marketable. Thanks to our partner and mentor Cathy, this label will also be featured in her store, helping our honey reach even more customers. For more information, please contact Pauline or email ammatoronto@ammagroups.org
