Farming Seva - Nov 22

Finishing off the 2025 Farming Season

This past week, the the Farm Team planted five new peach tree saplings in the orchard, tulips in the flower gardens, and garlic in the newly tilled veggie garden. As the 2025 season winds down, it feels fitting to be planting the seeds of future harvests. For those who would like to to help plant some fruit trees in the orchard, we have good news: many more saplings will be planted next Spring. Stay tuned!

The Beekeeping team has been busy bottling honey! There will be a lot of honey available for purchase beginning the first week of December. There will also be Enterprise apples and apple juice for sale this Saturday. Thanks for supporting the Farm through your purchases.

This Saturday, November 22 will likely be the last Farm seva of the season: the Farm Team will remove diseased and fallen apples from the orchard, and clean up the veggie garden, and tidy the tools in the sheds. Please bring your own lunch. For further updates, please check the farm chat. Not on the farm chat yet? Please ask Brian or email ammatoronto@ammagroups.org
