GreenFriends

Founded in 2001, GreenFriends is the international environmental initiative of Embracing the World. It's a volunteer-based movement that promotes environmental awareness and participation at the individual and community levels. GreenFriends seeks to inspire people to serve and protect nature, so that all life-forms may live in harmony upon the Earth.

The members of MA Center PNW, Seattle have been active in coordinating The PNW Litter Project. Other projects also include:

• GreenFriends PNW Newsletter
• Tree Planting and Forest Restoration
• Plant Sales
• Gardening and Permaculture Classes
• GreenFriends garden/yard work parties helping people plant gardens (for a donation to the MA Center PNW, Seattle fund).
