Saturday Satsang & Diwali Celebration with Swamiji

Diwali is the Indian Festival of Lights. Amma says Diwali is a reminder to us to light the lamp of goodness to remove the darkness of wickedness within - to invoke the divine within our hearts. If we can light the lamp of faith and love in our hearts and walk forward together, then we definitely can dispel the darkness that we see around and bring about a change in society.
This Saturday, Diwali will be celebrated at the MA Center during the Saturday Satsang program. We’ll decorate and light diyas (clay lamps traditional to Diwali), enjoy a special talk and lively bhajans with Swamiji, and end with a special Diwali dinner menu and dancing after dinner. Come dressed up in your Indian festive attire and if you’d like, bring sweets to share with others. Sharing sweets is a Diwali tradition!
On Saturday evenings, our community comes together for Satsang (spiritual talk), chanting and bhajans and to connect informally with old and new friends.
All are welcome to join us on Saturdays, an RSVP or pre-registration is NOT required.
“Group chanting and prayer is very powerful. It can change anything. The lost harmony of the human mind can be restored only through a selfless attitude supported by prayer, meditation and chanting of mantras.” – Amma
