New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day Programs with Swamiji

Dates: 12/31/2025 8:30 PM - 12:30 AM, 1/1/2026 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: In Person @ Amrita Hall & Online (Public Livestream option for both days).

This year, we are blessed to offer two special programs with Swamiji—one on New Year’s Eve and one on New Year’s Day. Each program will have its own beautiful focus to help us ring in the New Year with intention.
In-person Program Capacity
- Offering two programs will allow us to stay within the county’s capacity guidelines for in-person programs at MA Center, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following:
- Register for only one of the two days. Please register for either New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. We want to ensure as many community members as possible have the opportunity to participate in person.
- Pre-Registration is required to attend in person - please register by Monday, December 29th at 10 PM : Please use the Google Form linked below to reserve your spot for either the New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day program. You must register to attend. We will not be able to accommodate walk-ins.
- There is no cost to register. If you are joining us for dinner on New Year’s Eve or lunch on New Year’s Day, your meal can be purchased at the program. More details below.
- Please Carpool: We strongly encourage sharing a ride with friends, family or other Satsang members. More details below on carpooling and offsite parking to park and ride together.
The Livestream Option
If you cannot attend in person, or if you wish to enjoy both programs, we invite you to join the Livestream. Both sessions will be broadcast live for everyone to join from home on the MA Center YouTube channel.

Food/Meals:
- When you register using the link above, you’ll also be asked to RSVP for meals as part of your submission. Your RSVP helps us plan mindfully and reduce waste.
- Dinner on New Year’s Eve will be served at 7:30 PM. Purchase price is $13
- Lunch on New Year’s Day will be served at 1 PM. Purchase price is $10.
BART Pickup:
If you are taking BART, we will have a designated pickup time to pick you up from the Castro Valley BART station for both programs. Please indicate that you will need to be picked up from BART on your registration form.

- Carpooling & Offsite Parking option
We kindly ask all attendees to carpool to the New Year’s programs whenever possible to reduce the traffic coming into the ashram.
On New Year’s Eve, once we reach 100 cars onsite, vehicles with fewer than two passengers will be directed to our designated offsite parking lot, where a shuttle will bring you to the MA Center.
You’re also welcome to meet fellow community members at the offsite lot and carpool from there before heading up to the Center.

- 8:30 PM — Swamiji’s New Year’s talk
- 9:15 PM — Bhajans
- 10:15 PM — Stretch break + chai
- 10:45 PM — 108 Names, 1000 Names with Lemon Lamps
- 11:45 PM — Lokaha chanting until midnight
- 12:00 AM — Closing bhajans, arati & prasad
New Year’s Day Sadhana Program with Swamiji — January 1, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Lunch option @ 1:00 PM
On the first morning of 2026, we gather for a quieter, more contemplative program focused on archana, meditation, and gratitude as we set our intentions for the year ahead.
- 10:00 AM — Archana (108 Names + 1000 Names) with Lemon Lamps
- 11:00 AM — Stretch Break + Chai
- 11:15 AM — Guided meditation
- 12:00 PM — Bhajans, arati & closing prayers
- 1:00 PM — Lunch

Morning Archana
Monday-Saturday: 5 AM

Sunday - Friday: 7 PM
If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

Directions
The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center, turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
