Saturday, August 15 is the beginning of the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, the birthday of Lord Ganesha, God of success and overcoming obstacles. Everyone is welcome to make their own individual Ganesh murthi - sacred clay figure - at home.

Ganesh Chaturthi kits will be available for “curbside” pickup at the MA Center on Saturday, August 15 between 11 am and 2 pm in the outer lot (VISHNU LOT 12) as you enter from Crow Canyon Rd. Cost is $5 per kit. Orders must be placed by 9:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12th.  You can also gather your own supplies at home.

This three-part festival will continue on Friday, August 21 with the Virtual Ganesh Chaturthi Puja led by Swami Dayamritananda Puri, and will conclude on Saturday, August 29, with the Visarjan (Immersion) of the Ganesh murthis.
