Community Pre-Tour Seva Day & Bhajans with Swamiji: in-person

After 5 long years, Amma is returning to the Bay Area this summer! Amma’s 2024 Summer North American Tour will begin in early July. (Please stay tuned for further details on the dates & venues over the coming weeks).
Join us in preparing for Amma’s much-anticipated summer programs. There are many ways to contribute your time and talents through seva (selfless service). We welcome all skills and abilities.
A delicious lunch and hot chai will be provided for all volunteers as well as an afternoon snack before ending the day with bhajans led by Swamiji. Please RSVP for lunch here by Thursday, May 30th at 10 PM.
Please note the earlier start and end time for the evening program below. This will be the last Saturday evening program until after Amma’s North American tour.
Schedule:
- 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM: Seva day, including lunch
- 3:30 PM: Chai & Snack Break
- 4:30 PM - 6 PM: Bhajans with Swamiji
- After the program at 6 PM: Prasad for all.
Food:
- Chai, Lunch and Snacks are complimentary for all volunteers joining us for Community Seva Day. If you will be joining us for lunch, please RSVP here by Thursday, May 30th at 10 PM.
- Prasad will be available after the program.
Prayer list: The prayer list is shown every Saturday before Arati for the community to come together in silent prayer for friends, family and loved ones that are undergoing hardship, illness or just need a special thought. Please submit the names of people to be added to the prayer list by 7:00 PM on Friday at: https://bit.ly/SRPrayerList
Masks Indoors are optional and a personal preference. We request you to remember that the health and safety of all who wish to attend the program should remain uppermost in our minds and hearts. If you feel at all sick, have a fever, or have been exposed to anyone who tests positive for Covid-19, please do not attend.

If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

Directions
The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center, turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
