Seva = Selfless Service - All work done at MA Center LA is done on a Volunteer Basis.
MA Center LA is reaching out for your help in a few Areas from Aug 30th to Sept 1st for Swami Amritaswarupananda's upcoming visit at MA Center LA! There are some specific needs and areas that we will need help in and to prepare for Amma's Most Senior Disciple at MA center LA.

Ongoing Programs at MA Center LA have specific areas that need volunteers
- Satsang Hall & Altar set up This team will set up the Altar with A picture of our Spiritual Teacher Amma and place Flowers and fruits at the Altar. They will also be in charge of getting donations or offerings of flowers, fruits, flower petals and garlands. They will also set up the hall with Chairs and pillows for guests to sit on. this group will also do the breakdown of the altar and putting everything back that was used to make the program
- Music Group team - this group will be in charge of setting up the sound system & microphones. They will also recruit the singers and band members to play drums harmonium and percussion. They will also need an assistant to operate the projector to have the words to all the devotional songs being sung during the program. This group is also responsible for breaking down the set up and putting all the equipment away.
- Dining Hall & Kitchen set up - th kitchen team will prepare the evening meal and others withinn the group will set up the tables and chairs as well as the serving table. they will also be responsible for cleaning the dining hall cleaning the table cloths and putting the food in it's proper place at the end of the program, cleaning all pots, pans dishes and mopping the kitchen floor before leaving.
- Clean up Team - Kitchen, Bathrooms, and Hallways - At the end of the program the bathrooms must be cleaned according to the health dept regulations. This includes mopping of the Kitchen floors and Bathroom and floors, in addition to repleninhing paper towels and toilet paper as well as cleaning the counters and Mirrors. Hallways should be swept.
