550 boxes of Kraft Dinner delivered to food banks

In early March, one of Amma Canada's Charitable coordinators received a call from the manager of the Georgetown Bread Basket: "Could we take 550 boxes of Kraft Dinner?" The Charitable coordinator immediately said 'yes!' and sprang into action, picking up the Kraft Dinner and bringing it to the Amma Canada Centre. There the boxes were divided amongst four Toronto Satsang volunteers who delivered them to ACSA In Scarborough, the Ancaster Food Bank, St Jude’s Academy Food Bank in Mississauga, and Fort York Food Bank in downtown Toronto. All the food programs were very happy to receive these donations. Thank you to all volunteers who helped deliver the food: our small efforts prevent food waste and help feed those in need!
