Let’s offer Amma a Birthday gift of Seva

With so much joy in our hearts, we want to share that many Amma families came together to lovingly buy items for children in shelters. Each gift was placed before Dayamritananda Swamiji, who blessed them all with prayers, offering flowers and even prostrating before the donations. It was such a moving moment, reminding us of Amma’s grace. We felt it as a powerful teaching that even these humble items collected for needy children are sacred. We are truly blessed to have such guidance.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has already contributed. Truly, this is Amma’s love being expressed through all of you. If you haven’t had a chance yet, this is a beautiful opportunity to be part of this seva and add your prayers into this collective offering. AYUDH Toronto is supporting Halton Women’s Place, a shelter that provides a safe haven for women who have suffered mental, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse, along with their dependent children. You can help by donating items from the list below or e-transferring a cash donation.

Items Still Needed:

Back-to-School Supplies for Children:

• Scientific/graphing calculators
• Protractor kits
• Colouring books (children & youth)
• Kids thermos containers

Items for Babies:

• Strollers (double, infant & toddler)
• Baby monitors with cameras

Important Note: All items must be NEW to ensure safety and dignity for the children and families at the shelter.

Please drop off your donations by October 4 to the Amma Canada Centre, 9158 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown.
