Amma Canada 2025 Holiday Initiatives
The Christmas season is a time of joy, celebration and the spirit of giving. Following Amma’s selfless example of love and service, Toronto Satsang volunteers gathered to help bring the Holiday spirit to the local community. Amma’s elves thoughtfully purchased requested items for two Links2Care sponsored families including clothing, personal hygiene items, and special treats for six children and youth. Gifts were carefully packed in holiday gift bags and delivered to the Links2Care office.
In addition, Amma Canada sponsored a festive holiday lunch for 50 isolated Links2Care seniors residing in low income housing. At the event, the seniors received handcrafted Christmas cards made by Satsang youth.
Several Satsang volunteers also shopped for nine vulnerable seniors residing at Bennett Centre LTC, from a curated list provided by the staff. The list included requested clothing, gift cards, and personal care items along with holiday decorations and treats. The Santa sacs were lovingly prepared and hand delivered to add a personal touch of kindness and holiday cheer to their festivities. Amma reminds us of the joy we receive, by spreading Her message of love and service to the community, during the holidays and throughout the year.
