We are preparing for Swami Amritaswarupananda's visit on Tuesday, July 14. We are so blessed to host Swamaji again at the Amma Center. We are coming together as a community for the many tasks involved in getting ready. We appreciate anything you can do – no task is too small.
Here's what to expect on Saturday, July 11
We will begin with 1000 Names @ 4:15 pm,
followed by the 108 Names of Amma @ 5:00 pm
Please come if you can to help us
set our intentions for the upcoming program.
We will work in four primary groups –
- Group 1: Varenya. Kitchen and dining. Help setting up for dinner, plastic ware and chairs.
- Group 2: Yogesh. Setting up shoe racks outside temple; details to follow.
- Group 3: Andrea Bookstore. Setting up tables for book stall and getting boxes from shed.
- Group 4: Yogesh Temple Set up. Platform, Chairs, Swamiji table, Ullas, Sound system take down.
We have one song to practice. All are welcome to join in with the Amma Center bhajan group.
All are welcome. Surely other tasks will arise as we are there.

The daily ashram routine includes archana (chanting of the 108 Names of Amma and the 1000 Names of the Divine Mother), meditation, seva (volunteering or service) and bhajans (devotional singing).
The Santa Fe Satsang meets on Saturday nights, from at 5:00pm-7:30pm in the temple. Arrive by 4:15pm if you would like to chant the 1000 names of Sri Lalita before Satsang begins.
