Projects

Our Programs

From the Burrito Project feeding Santa Fe's homeless every Sunday to the orchard and garden that green the high desert, from meditation classes to the weekly satsang meals, the Amma Center of New Mexico turns Amma's teachings into steady, practical love. Every project runs on volunteers — there is a place here for everyone.

"The beauty and charm of selfless love and service should not die away from the face of the earth. The world should know that a life of dedication is possible, that a life inspired by love and service to humanity is possible."

— Amma

Why it Matters

Amma teaches that a life inspired by love and service is possible for everyone. At the Amma Center of New Mexico that looks like homemade burritos carried to a shelter on a cold Sunday morning, fruit trees rising from the high desert, and neighbours meeting to meditate and serve. Seva — selfless service — is the heart of everything we do.
