Our Programs

From Mother's Kitchen feeding youth at Covenant House and the homeless of downtown Atlanta, to AYUDH's thousands of meals and clothing drives, to GreenFriends' organic garden and river clean-ups, the M.A. Center Atlanta community turns Amma's teachings into steady, practical love. Every project runs on volunteers — there is a place here for everyone.

Why it Matters

Amma teaches that a life inspired by love and service is possible for everyone. At M.A. Center Atlanta that looks like a hot vegetarian lunch carried to a youth shelter, thousands of meals cooked for the homeless during a pandemic, a stretch of riverbank cleared of trash, and a garden that feeds both people and pollinators. Seva — selfless service — is the heart of everything we do.

Our Impact

  • 3,322 vegetarian meals cooked for Atlanta's homeless in 2020 alone
  • 9 years of the organic garden, now with rainwater harvesting
  • 60 young people served a fresh vegetarian lunch monthly at Covenant House
  • 2016 the year M.A. Center Atlanta was founded in Cumming, Georgia
