About the Center
Founded on December 3, 2016, M.A. Center Atlanta is home to the Southeast US branch of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math — the spiritual and charitable organization inspired by Amma, the world-renowned humanitarian and spiritual teacher. The center conceives and carries out local Embracing the World humanitarian projects while serving as a hermitage grounded in spiritual principles.
A Diverse Community
Set on peaceful grounds in Cumming, Georgia, the center has drawn members from literally every major religion, ethnicity, tradition and culture, coming together as one family. Learn more about Amma's worldwide humanitarian work at embracingtheworld.org.
Community & Service
The center gathers for satsang on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, along with weekly Amrita Yoga and IAM meditation. Through Mother's Kitchen, the AYUDH youth movement, the Amrita Bala Kendra children's program and GreenFriends, the community turns Amma's teachings into steady, practical love — feeding the hungry, caring for the earth and nurturing the young.
