Join us for a special two-day spiritual retreat and public program with Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, Amma’s senior-most disciple, who has been visiting the U.S. alongside Amma since 1987.
Swamiji's talks and discussion will focus on the topic ‘Coping in an Uncertain World’.

The world is full of uncertainties, and we don’t have much control over what comes our way in life. Amma offers comforting words “Don’t be discouraged if you cannot eliminate darkness from the world. Each of us harbors a radiant light of love within. The darkness and challenges outside cannot diminish this eternal glow. By strengthening our faith we can increase that inner brightness. So keep going and march ahead.
Swamiji will share practical insights and guidance on how to embody Amma’s wisdom, lighting the lamp within, and becoming the light that dispels darkness."

• The rate is $94/night for up to 2 people + $10 per person for additional people (up to 4). The deadline to register is one week before the retreat on Friday, August 22. Complimentary overnight parking is included.

• Free parking is available at the venue. Parking volunteers will be available to assist. Carpooling is encouraged.

• The closest BART station is Milpitas. From there you can take a westbound #20 VTA bus to the Montague & McCarthy stop, which is a 10-15 minute walk from the venue. You can see BART schedule times here
• Scheduled BART Shuttles - from the Milpitas BART station to the venue:
• Friday: Retreat pickup: 10:30 am. Public Program pickup: 5:45 pm. Return shuttle 9:30 pm.
• Saturday: Retreat pickup: 9:30 am. Return shuttle 10:30 pm.
