Homa (Fire Ceremony) for World Peace, Mother Nature, and Departed Souls
And to celebrate with prayers, the re-opening of MA Center San Ramon after 2 years
Performed by Swamini Ambikamrita Prana

Saturday, April 30, 8 - 10 am PDT
All are welcome to attend in person.
Location: Amrita Hall front porch

Homa is an ancient Vedic fire ceremony performed to keep us in harmony with cosmic forces, thereby removing and overcoming the sorrows of life and bringing spiritual upliftment. The Homa will benefit the health and well-being of the Ashram and devotees, World Peace, and Mother Nature. A Tila Homa for departed souls will also be included. The Homa will be accompanied by group chanting and devotional singing.

Attendance will be in person only; the Homa will not be streamed online.
As per the safety protocols specified by the MA Center Board, everyone attending should wear properly fitted masks (N/KN95 recommended) and social distancing is required.  If you feel at all sick, have a fever, or have been exposed to anyone who tests positive for Covid-19, please do not attend.  Please read all of the safety protocols here >>

The following will be included in the Homa: Ganapathy Homa, individual planetary pujas, and Tila Homa for departed souls or for the peace of one's ancestors and to receive the blessings of ancestors.

Registration is not required to attend; however, you are welcome to sign up for a sankalpa (special intention) to be made during the Homa on your behalf, or for a loved one. Those who register for the sankalpa do not need to be present to receive the benefits of the Homa. Proceeds support Amma's charitable activities.

REGISTER FOR SANKALPA HERE >
Deadline to register is Friday, April 29, 8 PM PDT.

In keeping with Amma’s wish that Homas for her devotees who have passed away be performed periodically, MA Center will make a special sankalpa (spiritual resolve) for them during the Tila Homa. There is no need to submit names of individual devotees.
