750 Million Surya Namaskaras
As part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of Indian Independence , ' Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', the Ministry of Education, GOI, has undertaken a noble goal to perform 750 million Surya Namaskarams across the world, by individuals, groups, organizations and educational institutions.
As children of Amma, it is our privilege to offer gratitude to the origin of the ancient wisdom of the Rishis, the sacred land that taught meditation and yoga to the world.
Amrita Yoga has been invited to co-sponsor this event.
We have been asked to do 13 rounds of Surya Namaskaram per day until February 20th. Join MA Center's efforts to contribute our share of Surya Namaskarams for the successful completion of this noble cause.
MA Center will host DAILY Surya Namaskaram sessions from February 3 until February 19th across North America. The final day, Sunday February 20, will be one grand event at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

The daily ashram routine includes archana (chanting of the 108 Names of Amma and the 1000 Names of the Divine Mother), meditation, seva (volunteering or service) and bhajans (devotional singing).
The Santa Fe Satsang meets on Saturday nights, from at 5:00pm-7:30pm in the temple. Arrive by 4:15pm if you would like to chant the 1000 names of Sri Lalita before Satsang begins.
