Virtual Durga Puja for Navaratri

Navaratri - 'nine nights' in Sanskrit, will be celebrated virtually by MA Center from Wednesday, October 6 through Thursday, October 14. During these nine nights, three evenings each are devoted to honoring Goddesses Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati. The Navaratri ends on Vijayadashami, the tenth day, the day of beginnings.

Vedic Puja for Goddess Durga
Wednesday, October 6, 6pm PDT
On Wednesday, October 6th, the opening night of Navaratri, Pujarini Meera will perform a formal Vedic Puja dedicated to Durga, the Goddess who removes negative tendencies. Devotional chants and bhajans will be led during the puja by Swami Dayamritananda Puri.

The puja is open to all, no registration is required to attend. In addition, registration is available for a sankalpa (special intention) to be made during the puja on your behalf, or for a loved one - $65 per individual. You do not need to attend the puja to register for a sankalpa.

Sunday - Friday: 7 PM
If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

Directions
The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center, turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
