Guru Purnima Celebration

Guru Purnima is traditionally observed as a day dedicated to the Guru, when devotees and spiritual aspirants honor and express gratitude to their guru. The celebration at MA Center will start with ceremonial worship, Guru Pada Puja for Amma, performed by a devotee.

-  Guru Pada Puja and bhajans (devotional songs)
-  Arati & closing prayers
9:30:
- Prasad distribution & dinner

All are welcome to join the ashram residents for daily spiritual practices in the Main House puja room:

Morning Archana

Monday-Saturday: 5 AM
Sunday: 6 AM

  • 1000 Names of the Divine Mother, Sri Lalitha Sahasranam

 

Evening Bhajans

Sunday - Friday: 7 PM
If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

  • Guru Stotram Chanting
  • Bhajans (Devotional singing)
  • Closing prayers and Arati

Directions

The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center,  turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
