Virtual Vedic Saraswati Puja on Vasant Panchami - Swamini Ambikamrita Prana

Feb 5, 2022 8:00am-9:30am (ended)

Starts at 8 am Pacific Time

Vasant Panchami is especially dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the aspect of the Universal Consciousness related to knowledge, language, music, the arts, science and technology. Saraswati is worshiped for gaining knowledge, and to rid oneself of lethargy, sluggishness and ignorance. Sacred rituals for initiating children in education are often performed on this day. Many astrologers consider Vasant Panchami to be an auspicious day to begin all auspicious work or projects.

On this day, beginning at 8 am, Swamini Ambikamrita Prana will perform a formal Vedic Saraswati Puja, accompanied by devotional chanting and singing led by Swami Dayamritananda Puri.

Registration is required. A link to attend via streaming video will be sent to those who register for a sankalpa (special intention) to be made during the puja on your behalf, or for a loved one.

Register for sankalpa here >>

Registration will close on the morning of the puja: Saturday, February 5, at 5:30 am PST.
