Shivaratri Program with Swamiji and Homa
Maha Shivaratri - The Great Night of Lord Shiva And Homa
We will be celebrating the great night of Lord Shiva with a traditional all-night program. Spiritual practices done on this night are considered to be especially beneficial. Staying awake is symbolic of the awareness and oneness of purpose that a spiritual aspirant needs to reach the goal.

Program Schedule:
7:30 pm: Shiva Puja and Bhajans with Swamiji
Flower petal offering
9:00 pm: Prasad distribution and Dinner Break
10:15 pm: Stories of Lord Shiva
11:00 pm: Bhajans with Swamiji
12:15 am: Sri Rudram - Namakam & Chamakam
1:00 am: Tea Break
1:15 am: 1000 names of Lord Shiva
2:00 am: Bhajans
3:00 am: 108 Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra and Prayer for Peace
3:30 am: Tea & Snack Break
4:00 am : Homa performed by Bri. Rema Devi.
6:00 am : Arati, Closing prayers, Homa Prasad distribution
Homa - 4- 6 am March 7th
A special Homa will be performed by Bri.Rema Devi at the end of the Maha Shivaratri ceremonies. The homa will include the Tila homa for departed ancestors, and devotees can register for a special intent for any of the following:
Maha Ganapathy, Ganapathy, Navagraha, Individual planets, Swayamvara Karuga, Tila
Registrations at the M. A. Center on Saturdays, starting February 13. Also available on March 6th during Shivaratri program.
People who register will have reserved seats so that they can sit closer to their puja. However, all are welcome to attend.
*Puja recommendation consultation is available on Saturdays.

Evening Bhajans
Sunday - Friday: 7 PM
If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

Directions
The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center, turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
