Maha Shivaratri with Swamiji & Homa

On Sunday, February 15th, MA Center will celebrate Maha Shivaratri with an all-night program led by Swami Dayamritananda Puri from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Dinner will be served at 7:30; the program will start at 8:30.
Pre-Registration is required for in person attendance for the first part of the program from 7:30 - 12:00 am.
Registration is not required if you are arriving after 12:00 am.

Livestream: The program will also be livestreamed from 8:30 pm - 3:00 am on our YouTube channel.
Homa: The program will end with a Homa (sacred fire ceremony) performed by Pujari Devidas, accompanied by bhajans and chanting from 4-6 AM. The homa will be dedicated to world peace and harmony and for Amma’s devotees who have passed away. All are welcome to attend.
Please note that the homa will not be livestreamed. Optional registration is available for a sankalpa (spiritual resolve) to be made during the homa on your behalf or for a loved one. See below for registration details.
In-person Program Capacity
Registration & Carpooling will allow us to stay within the county’s capacity guidelines for in-person programs at MA Center.
Preregistration is required to attend the first part of the program from 7:30 pm - 12:00 am.
There is no cost to register.
RSVP for dinner by donation at 7:30 pm is included in the registration form.
Registration is not required starting at 12:00 am.
Carpooling is strongly encouraged, to reduce traffic coming into the ashram, and the number of cars onsite. Please share a ride with friends, family, or other satsang members - at least 3 people per vehicle.
BART Pickup: There will be a scheduled pickup time at the Castro Valley BART station. RSVP for BART is included on the registration form.

- 9 PM: Participatory Shiva Puja - accompanied by Bhajans led by Swamiji
- 10:45 PM: Chai & Snack break
- 11:15 PM: Rudram chanting
- 12:00 AM: Group chanting: 1,000 names of Lord Shiva & 108 repetitions of the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra
- 1:15 AM: Chai Break
- 1:45 AM: Simple guided yoga stretches
- 2:15 AM: Bhajans
- 3:00 AM: Chai & light breakfast
- 4:00 - 6:00 AM: Homa by Pujari Devidas
Homa Sankalpa Registration: Register before Sunday, February 15 at 8:30 PM PST.
The following homas/pujas will be included and are available to register for a sankalpa (spiritual resolve) to be made during the homa on your behalf, or for a loved one: Ganapathy, Maha Ganapathy, Tila, Navagraha (all nine planets), and individual planets: Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu.

All are welcome to join the ashram residents for daily spiritual practices in the Main House puja room:

If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

Directions
The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center, turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
