Karthika Program with Swamiji - in-person

Dec 3, 2025 6:30pm-8:30pm

Location: Amrita Hall

Each month, we gather to honor Amma’s birthstar, Karthika, with a special program.
This month, Swamiji will lead a manasa puja for Karthika, followed by bhajans and Arati.
This Karthika is especially auspicious as it falls on Trikarthika—the festival of lights celebrated in Kerala on the Kartika Nakshatram during the month of Vrischikam (mid-November to mid-December). It traditionally aligns with the full moon day and is dedicated to Goddess Shakti or Bhagavati and as a celebration of nature.
All are welcome to join.

Schedule:

  • Manasa Puja by Swamiji (includes Amma’s 108 names)
  • Bhajans with Swamiji
  • Arati and closing prayers
  • Prasad

“Group chanting and prayer is very powerful. It can change anything. The lost harmony of the human mind can be restored only through a selfless attitude supported by prayer, meditation and chanting of mantras.” – Amma
