Ganesh Murthi Making to start the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, the birthday of Lord Ganesha, God of success and overcoming obstacles:
Due to preparations for Swamiji’s offsite programs, we are not able to hold events in Amrita Hall this Saturday or the following week. Therefore, we are providing kits for devotees to make their Ganesh murthis (sacred clay figures) and prepare for the puja at home. You are also welcome to gather your own supplies. Please RSVP below by Wednesday, Aug 20th if you would like to pick up a kit or kits.
The three-part festival will continue on Tuesday, August 26th with the participatory Ganesh Chaturthi Puja. The puja will be primarily virtual, so some supplies for setting up your home puja will be included in the kits. The murthi will be placed on your altar until the day of the participatory puja ceremony.
The kits will be available for pickup on the temple porch from 12 - 3 pm.
RSVP for murthi making and puja kits by Wednesday, August 20th at 10 pm here.
See details about making your murthi and setting up your home puja here.
The Ganesh Chaturthi festival will conclude on Saturday, September 6th with the in-person Visarjan (Immersion) of the Ganesh murthis.

Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
