Community Seva Day & Holi Celebration: in-person

Mar 29, 2025 9:30am-6:00pm (ended)

Join us for a special day of community building through selfless service. Let’s beautify and upgrade our beloved ashram together. We’ll be tackling big projects and caring for the trees in our orchard (weather permitting). We will provide all tools needed, lunch, snacks, & delicious hot chai. All ages and skills are welcome!

RSVP for lunch and/or the Holi celebration: If you will be joining us for lunch and/or the Holi celebration, please RSVP by Thursday, March 27th at 10 PM here

The day will end with a special Holi celebration, the festival of colors, joy and renewal. Holi, or Holia, is a popular festival in India with origins that date back to ancient times. The celebration will include a special Holika ceremony, bhajans, sweets and snacks to share, and playing with colors outdoors. RSVP here

What to Wear: We will be outdoors for much of the program, so please bring layers to stay warm. If you’re participating in the Holi fun with colors, the dry colors should wash off, but do wear clothes that are easy to wash.

Schedule:

  • 3:30 PM: Chai & Hearty Snack Break
  • 4:30 PM - 6 PM: Holi celebration
  • 6 PM: Prasad & Chai for all
