Community Seva Day & Ganesha Visarjan

Sep 6, 2025 9:30am-5:30pm

Ganesha Visarjan: 4 PM - 5:30 PM

Join us for a special day of community building through selfless service. This Saturday we will be setting up the hall after the offsite programs with Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri in August. Lunch, snacks, & delicious hot chai will be provided.

All ages and skills are welcome!

The seva day will be followed by the Ganesha Visarjan program at 4 PM. This is the final step of Ganesha Chaturthi. The Ganesha Visarjan will include the Murthi immersion ceremony, in which the clay Ganeshas that were individually made and worshiped are immersed in water. This immersion ceremony symbolizes that all forms are temporary, having both their origin and final destination in the formless Absolute. The program will also include a puja, procession, and bhajans.
