Celebrating International Day of Yoga

In honor of the United Nations 11th annual International Day of Yoga, MA Center is hosting a free yoga and meditation event on Saturday, June 14th. All are welcome to attend.
“The purpose of Yoga is for our inner well-being. It does not belong to any particular faith or religion. It was passed on to us by the ancient seers for the well-being of humanity. Yoga helps us to reconnect with nature and eventually become one with God.” -Amma
This year's theme is: Yoga for One Earth, One Health.
Amma says: “Humankind and Nature are one. Knowing this truth through direct experience, the ancient rishis of India declared vasudhaiva kuṭuṁbakam ‘The world is one family.”

IAM® is a short and simple approach to meditation that anyone can learn. The technique consists of energizing exercises - yogic postures, followed by meditation. It integrates movement, breath, sound, and visualization. IAM-20 is a modified version of the original IAM practice that takes 20 minutes per day.

- 2:00-300 pm Guided Nature Walk
Experience a silent nature bathing walk with facilitated activities to connect deeply with the present moment and the beauty of nature. Ease into a peaceful quiet inward stillness.

Amrita Yoga® focuses on Awareness with Heart-centered Intention. It transcends the physical asana practice to deepen self-awareness, and experience the interconnectedness of all life.
