Amriteshwari, meaning "Goddess of Immortality," combines "Amrita" (nectar of immortality) and "Ishwari" (goddess). This name symbolizes the Divine Mother as the source of eternal bliss, and spiritual liberation. In the context of Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Amriteshwari reflects her divine love and compassion, guiding devotees toward enlightenment.

Ceremonies like the Sarva Amriteshwari Puja honor Amma by invoking her on a 'Vilakku Deepam' (flame of a lamp), symbolizing her presence and praying for her blessings to bestow prosperity, harmony, and spiritual upliftment. In essence, Amriteshwari represents eternal life, divine grace, and spiritual transcendence.
