(Krishna's Birthday Celebration)

Will include a video, Amma's 108 Names, a reading from the Srimad Bhagavatam, Abhishekh (bathing) and feeding of the Infant Krishna, Krishna's 108 Names, Group Dancing, Bhajans, rocking of the cradle and Arati to Lord Krishna and Amma. 

Children's Activity Table also available

Significance of Sri Krishna Janmashtami

Janmashtami signifies the birth of Lord Krishna, known affectionately to His devotees as the "Stealer of Hearts." Krishna was born in the darkness of midnight inside the jail cell where His parents were being kept by the evil King Kamsa. It is said that at the moment of His birth their chains broke, the attending guards fell fast asleep, and the locked doors of the prison flew open. Likewise, when the Lord of Love is born into our own hearts, our shackles and prison of pain, greed, anger and attachments cease to bind us. Janmashtami is a holiday of joy, devotion and boisterous celebration! Come experience the absolute Sweetness of Krishna!
