Join us to Celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights!!

At MA Center LA, in Redondo Beach on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD 2018

Diwali or (Deepavali) which literally means "rows of lamps" is one of the four main festivals of India. It is celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm. The celebration lasts for six days. Goddess Lakshmi Devi (Goddess of Wealth), Lord Rama and Lord Sri Krishna are worshipped during this time.

Spiritual significance of Diwali: Amma says the luminous inner light of the Self is ever shining steadily in the chamber of the heart and that the very goal is to seek that Self. The rows of lamps teach an important lesson of unity. The light that shines forth from the Sun, the moon, the stars, and fire is all the same. To see and recognize that one light, the light of consciousness, which is manifesting and pulsating in and through all of creation is the goal of life. Thus, recognizing all of creation to be an expression of your true Self, spread the light of love and compassion.

Lakshmi puja during Diwali celebrations: Shri Lakshmi Devi is the Goddess of material as well as divine/spiritual wealth. Please join us for Lakshmi puja for prosperity and grace for oneself and others.
