Benefit Lunches

During the Summer months, we hold weekly benefit lunches. Vaju Moorthy who lives in Amritapuri (Amma’s main Ashram in India) leads this community outreach effort with support from the community and MA Center Iowa members.

Proceeds from some of the benefit lunches will go to the MA Center Iowa to support local service projects, and others will go directly to local charities, including “Carry On Bags”, a local organization that addresses food insecurity for school children in Jefferson County, Iowa. 

In 2026 the schedule has been Fridays at 11:30 AM at the Phoenix Rising Hall in Fairfield. Helping hands are welcome to prep and serve the food and to clean up after the event. For more information, or to volunteer, please contact Yogendra at sgoris108@gmail.com.
