Maha Mrityunjaya Homam by Br. Shantamrita Chaitanya

Sep 9, 2018 10:00am-12:00pm (ended)

Homam, also known as Homa or Havan, is a Sanskrit word that refers to any ritual in which making offerings into a consecrated fire is the primary action.

Homams and Pujas are ritualistic worship of the Divine performed to keep us in harmony with cosmic forces, thereby removing and overcoming the sorrows of life and bringing spiritual upliftment. By doing homa/puja, thoughts and vibrations of spiritual forces are created around us. These spiritual forces work to eliminate the negative influences in our life and help surround us with positive energy which can bring us peace of mind, material prosperity and abiding health and enable us to more clearly touch the Divine, our true nature.

In the wake of calamities across the world, particularly in Kerala, Amma’s home state in India, that resulted in the untimely loss of lives and disruption of normal life, the Maha Mrityunjaya Homam will generate divine vibrations that ward off all negative forces and creates a powerful protective shield.

Br. Shantamrita Chaitanya will perform Maha Mrityunjaya Homam at MA Center Chicago on Sunday, September 09, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12 Noon.
